Manassas Stroll: the new Baldwin School

Contributing Writer: Andrea Lopez | Images: CCN —

There is so much history in Manassas, but there are also a lot of new things going on. Something new is the construction of the new Baldwin school. The current Baldwin Elementary School was first built-in 1958. The construction of a new one was an idea that took 20 plus years to execute, and is expected to be finished by January 2017. At the top of the garage in Old Town, I was able to see the progress of the construction. It was truly eye-opening because everything had been lifted off the ground.

“I think the New Baldwin School is going to be interesting; especially seeing younger kids right across from the high schoolers.” – Melianty
