Osbourn High School welcomed the Manassas City residents on Saturday, November 14th to the annual Community Yard Sale. Any one in our community could have a stand of their very own to sell their goods. Stands were packed full of antique chinas, paintings, used clothes, toys, books, trading cards and hand crafted jewelry. It was great seeing people of all ages interact so closely!
Organizations and clubs that participated in the yard sale. Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), sold hotdogs and soda, and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), sold nachos. Girl Scouts were spotted there as well, selling handmade duct tape pens and notebooks. This event was a great way to keep the community up to date with what’s going on in and out of Osbourn High School.
Jamie Alfaro member of FBLA said, ” I think it was a great way to give back to the community, although I didn’t have a stand, I felt great as a volunteer”.
The Community Yard Sale was lively and successful this year!
