The month of February is National Wear Red Day to show awareness for heart diseases. Wearing red is to show and bring attention to the many heart diseases in both men and women. Every year both men and women pass away because of a heart disease. In the United States 1 in 4 deaths are caused by heart disease.

This month we can show awareness and create a difference by exercising, eating healthy, and by community leaders speaking out about these diseases. Find out more about heart awareness by visiting February American Heart Month. Every step towards your health makes a difference. Join in by wearing red this month.
