Manassas Reads at the Harris Pavilion

Fellow CCN member, Stephanie Mora, set off to check out the Manassas Reads Community Book Festival. This event was held in the Harris Pavillion on the morning of April 23rd. Families were freely welcomed, as the festival offered books for all ages to celebrate reading and learning. Manassas Therapy Dogs were in attendance to add to the fun. After children were done playing with local dogs and picking out their favorite books, they could sit around to listen for story-telling. There were free books available for all, giveaways and even live music! You could even have your favorite books signed by the authors themselves!

Manassas Reads was sponsored by the City of Manassas, Manassas City Public Schools and the Prince William Library System. The joys of reading and story-telling live strongly in the hearts of Manassas citizens.
