The Harris Pavilion– home to the richest events in Manassas – hosted a performance by the King’s Park Concert Band on the breezy afternoon of July 3rd. The concert began with the Star Spangled Banner as the audience rose and held their hand over their patriotic heart. The concert was strong throughout and filled Old Town Manassas with a sense of calmness as the jazz flowed through town. The band played, “Stars and Stripes Forever,” perfect for the day before the Fourth of July.
We can’t forget about the ice cream served after the amazing performance! Long lines of smiling faces approached the strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and even sugar-free creamy desserts. Afterwards, the audience of all ages mingled amidst the Pavilion and enjoyed the rest of their summer day.
