September 30th was the perfect day for an intense game!!! It was a sensational morning for the yearly Osbourn Powder Puff game. The Powder Puff game is a tradition at Osbourn High School, which starts off homecoming week. This friendly competition, is when a team of girls from each grade get together into teams to compete in a match of flag football against each other to earn extra spirit points for the week. Even our very own Osbourn Principal, Mr.Gabalski, participated as a referee as well as Mr. Spiller from the business department, Mr. Fisher from the PE department, Mr. Johnson from social studies, Mr. A. Johnson from TDT, and Mr. S. Wilson from administration. Anyone could join to play and represent their class, such as the sophomore homecoming princess, Talia Prosper.Boys from each class helped serve as coaching staff, such as the sophomore homecoming prince, Chance Hollingsworth. In the first face off , the sophomores beat the juniors 3 touchdowns to 0, then the sophomores went against the seniors after a good attempt the seniors sweeped a victory 3 touchdowns to 1.
